How to create a WMI filter by OS

Hi!

if you want to do a wmi filter in the GPMC for apply a specific gpo only to a specific operating system follow these steps:

In the GPMC go to WMI Filters and click New.

Writte a Name and description and click Add

Writte the following sentence:

select * from Win32_OperatingSystem WHERE Version like “6.1%” AND ProductType=”1″

Click Ok.

And Save

Now you can apply this wmi filtering to gpos.

OWA error – Out of memory

Hi!

When you are in OWA (Exchange 2007) and you try to repply an email by example and look a message with an out of memory error you can execute a .cmd file that reregister a lot of .dlls and it works for me with Windows 7 SP1 x86 with IE9.

How to know the MOSS 2010 installed version

Hi,

If you don´t know the MOSS 2010 installed version that you have on a server, you can find the GUID of the product in the following registry key:

HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shared Tools\Web Server Extensions\14.0\WSS\InstalledProducts

These are the GUIDs of MOSS:
